Increasing the demand for quality healthcare services
As said earlier, increasing the demand for quality healthcare services is an important aspect of health care program. The idea is to create an “Informed demand” for health services so that the public health system starts providing quality health services in the urban slums. The community volunteers would try and capacitate community men, women and youth to act as pressure group to demand from concerned authorities, government officials and people representatives the quality public health services in their areas and in the nearby hospital and dispensary. In order to bridge the gaps between need and availability of Health care services would also be met by joining hands with likeminded organizations and health care networks.
