New Project Launched:
A new project – construction of Bio-gas units, Launched in Uttarakhand State with the support of Intercooperation Social Development India. The objective of this program is to reduce the use of traditional fuel method (wood) of the people living near forest and provide them an alternative resource in form of bio-gas. The program is being implemented in two blocks of Hardwar district in Uttarakhand. So far NDS has constructed 60 Bio-gas plants in the region and work is going on.
